Fergus pipes the blues

I was wandering about town today and, as there often is, there was a guy with an electric guitar playing some blues at the top of Cockburn Street. As I was walking down the piper in this shot was walking up the street and, as he reached the blues guitarist he joined in. I've never heard 12 bar blues played on the pipes before but it was pretty good. They jammed for five minutes then the piper stopped to enjoy the adulation from a group of Japanese tourists. He did kind of steal the guitarists thunder.

Great night tonight as well. Dave had secured a few free tickets for the filming of a comedy show for the TV station which is his namesake and invited us along. The main act was Reginald D Hunter, who was excellent, tehre were three other comedians as well two of whom were decent enough, but an Aussie bloke called Steven Hughes stood out as well. The warm up comedian who's name I didn't catch was pretty funny as well. If you're based in the UK I'd recommend watching out for it being aired on Dave.
