Patriotic petunias

With two recent royal weddings, the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics coming up in less than a year now, we're feeling pretty patriotic here in Britain. I have never seen so many Union Jack's flying around the place. I'm not exactly flying the flag but at least the petunias which are putting on a terrific display in a hanging basket are lovely shades of red, white and blue.

For the record: 27C, hot, still, humid - a dog day.
