Early morning light on the Styx

Had to pick the cat up this morning from the cattery, crazy busy after being away, with Insurance coming for the 4th time to look at the house - it's our 8th visit altogether and apparently we've got at least 3 more!

then car in for repairs, done quickly luckily.

Anyway saw this from the car on the way to the cattery and stopped off on the way back for about 2 mins as cat not happy at being in car, and took a few shots, of which this is the best!

The river is the Styx River, not sure why, as lots of people cross it every day without paying the ferryman and return!! In Greek mytholoogy it was the river between life and death and the name also means "hate" and "detestation"! So not sure why this pretty stream was labelled with the name.
