It was raining when we left just before 0800 hours and raining when we returned twevle hours later, but in between we had rain, sun and wind.

Overall it was a good day and we walked eleven and a half kilometres. We walked in the sea, looked in the rock pools where we found fish, shrimps, crabs and red sea anemones. We had a good lunch as well as eating all the other things you generally eat at the seaside.

Of the many images taken it was decided that this one should be used here and shows Victoria with a slush drink, Grandad with his stick and Oliver with candyfloss walking down the street towards the beach just after lunch.
