The Lost Forgotten Parrot

This parrot has sat attached to a road sign on my cycle route for who knows how long yet has surprisingly red plumage. It has suffered from the elements, plant life growing on it and fellow birds doing something else to it! Should I maybe adopt him and bring him home. Mrs Daftspaniel may not be pleased with that acquisition.

Speaking of acquisitions, new camera has not arrived yet - hopefully for tomorrow though forecast is rather rainy. Will try for an urban shot.

Avoided all 'Monty Python' references in the write up - phew...
