The way I see it.

Corn Marigolds

I went for a walk tonight in my new surroundings and was delighted to find a strip of Corn Marigolds growing along the side of a field of barley.

As I paused from unpacking during the day I sat in my sun porch and contemplated how fortunate I was to be in such a delightful place. I can see the Beauly Firth and the Kessock bridge out of one window and a field of barley out another. I was mesmerised by the way that the barley softly swishes backwards and forwards in the breeze and some little birds hover above the stalks snatching at the seeds. Future blip material I think!
