Addicted to Pawn

I decided that when I caught myself watching reruns of naff 1970s comedies on TV (George and Mildred... Terry and June... ?) after a solid hour of pawn*, I had to get out and do something, even it was chucking it down in buckets.

Noticed lots of drip blips appearing on here and as we had an abundance of drips ourselves... well... there you go... a Drip within a Drip blip.

After mucking about with this I sat down listening to BBC6 Music to avoid any more Yootha Joyce or Terry Scott. An interesting titbit on the show mentioned that some of the success of the Beach Boys may have been down to the fact that their records sat next to the Beatles on the shelves. This started a flood of people contacting the show to say what their own 'Beatle Sandwich' was (what artists were either side of the Beatles in the Vinyl/CD/mp3 collection. Mines? Beastie Boys and Beck.

Go check. I'll wait until you get back... ...

Other than that, our lapsed blipper Hez was getting her knickers in a twists about her exam results that popped through the letterbox this morning (that also got sent as a panic inducing text message to her phone mistakenly yesterday, and emailed again today just in case). A good job well done as far as we're concerned that sets her up for a busy final year at high school.

Sun's out now. Might've jumped the gun a bit on today's blip.

* Guilty secret; been watching 'Pawn Stars' on TV a lot when the weather's been rubbish - it's a reality show about a massive pawn store in Las Vegas and is kind of like 'Antiques Roadshow' on speed.
