Heavy water? Light water? Misprunt??

Gaffer bought some Liquorice in a well known emporium today, along with some dried apple-rings.

Have you ever tried to buy something not ''Made in China.''?
I heard, on radio, the other day that if you look at the back of your MAC© it'll say ''Designed in California: Made in china.'' Even the dried apple-rings ''Made in china''.

The Liquorice, on the other hand was ''Packed in the U.K.'' with nary a hint as to where it was born.

Close scrutiny showed that while back and front were English, one side was written in English, the other in Dutch.

Even CLOSER scrutiny got me to wondering just exactly what ''Portable water'' is/was. Maybe it's light water and therefore more portable than heavy water.

I'm still at a loss as to why '' is rendered a ? unless added as two separate examples of ' and yet it manages to print © NO BOTHER. DUH?!?!?!?!?!?
