Flowering Spider

I would guess most of us are familiar with the Spider plant,, or Chlorophytum comosum.
We had one in the house for years and it "pupped" regularly, throwing offspring out on the end of stalks with gay abandon: but this is the first time I remember seeing flowers on the same stalk.
