WHW Day 7 - Buachaille Etive Mor

This is Buachaille Etive Mor, which stands at the head of Glen Coe. As I've said before, this is one of the most beautiful spots on the planet.

We walked from the Kings House hotel to Kinlochleven over the Devli's Staircase.

It actually wasn't that devilish and the view just as you go over the top of Ben Nevis and the Grampian Mountains is just fantastic. Both Mrs42 and I said an unprompted audible "WOW".

The walk down to Kinlochleven was a bit hard going on the knees - steep and stony and we were both pretty grumpy when we got to the B&B (which was also the last one on the way out of the town!). A plate of home made lasagne and a pint helped ease the knees (oh, and the ibuprofen...)
