Buff-tailed Bumblebees.

I was taking photographs of various insects and butterflies, feeding on the lavender in the garden and it was not until I downloaded the images that I realised that I had captured two bumblebees on one plant. I think they are Buff-tailed Bumblebees.

Today is mainly sunny and warm after the heavy rain we had all day yesterday, but occasionally the sky clouds over and we get just a few spots of rain.

The housework has been done and it is nearly time for lunch. Then I think I will have to do some work, script marking, before playing a board game with my grandchildren later this afternoon.
