Habits of the Heart

Not going to be a massive blip tonight.

My mum had her cancer op yesterday afternoon while I was in Scarborough and last night she was still quite sedated and hooked up to wires. They took out about a third of her lung.

But today - she is sitting in her chair, chatting away and bemoaning the fact that she has a room on her own when she wants to be on a ward with the other troopers :)

I didn't want to blip a lung. So my heart stone will have to do. I was searching for a piffy lung comment and the first result was named Habits of the Heart...and I thought that sounded nice.

Going to see her tomorrow with my girls
