Rained off...

Went up the ladders to put a hole in the ceiling last night. The rain was dripping through the plaster. Rather than have the whole lot come down on us, I reckoned it would be prudent to stick something in to let the water drain away. Am still waiting for someone to come in and fix the lead flashing. It's the end of the Trades now so here's hoping tomorrow.

As for today, it hasn't really stopped, but we went out for a walk anyway. We had to turn back half way round as the path around the loch was heavily flooded at one end. The ducks didn't think much of it either. Most of them had opted to move onto the grass under the trees... even the dogs gave up play and opted to leave their balls where they lay.
