Bird's Eye View

or more correctly Mayor's View of the city of Southampton!
This is John le Fleming, Mayor of Southampton 1295 - 1336. standing on the city walls to survey the scene below. I think he would be very annoyed if he could see Southampton today - due to the council strikes the streets haven't been cleaned for about two months, the bins are overflowing, and litter is blowing everywhere.

Getting a bit nervous about tomorrow - I have to be in the BBC Radio Solent studios at 8.15 am to be interviewed live on air about my Blipping hobby!!
