shotlandka's weebig world

Barbed wire

This shot was taken at what I think of as Glasgow's most cheerful bus stop - Eglinton Toll. It is just by a monumental sculptor's yard, so is full of gravestones just waiting for your choice of inscription.

Waiting is the correct word for anything around that bus stop, as it is just by the bus company depot, and is the scene for many, many impatient commuters to mutter and shift in their seats, look at their watches and half stand to turn around to check through the back window whether another bus is coming, all while waiting, waiting, waiting for a driver changeover. As are so many of my blips, it was taken through the window, this time of the bus rather than the train.

Hope none of you have been affected by the rioting going on down south, have been very cheered to see the clean up teams out. Scary to see such clear evidence of the fractures within our society.

Edit: just realised that my love of contrast between my blips is well satisfied by the differences between yesterday's and today's!
