Li's Gifts

I was busy all day; when I finally headed out for a blip it had started to rain.

So I looked around inside. I found these gifts from Li Li of China, the Mt. Holyoke College student whom we had hosted through 2010. I put them in our bathroom window, and shot away. Serendipitally, they reflect our interest in birds.

The background is the parking lot of the large condominium next door (formerly Northampton's jail)--not a wonderful view, but I enjoy it nonetheless, following the cars which come and go. The car with the lights arrived near the end of my series.

Here's another blip of Li, with her then boy friend. She is now working in Colorado, but we are still very much in touch.
