The residents of Scotland Street

The New Town area of Edinburgh has been immortalised in a series of books by the author Alexander McCall Smith called 44 Scotland Street. One of the series, The World According to Bertie has been turned into a play at the Fringe so the press call was at the corner of the famous street. Scotland Street is a draw for many famous people and one of the current residents is Irvine Welsh, author of Trainspotting. He just happened to be passing by and joined in the photo-call so here are the two authors and the lead role in the play, Bertie.
