MY SUNFLOWER HAS FLOWERED!

WOOOOOO-HOOOOOOO!

I genuinely did a little happy dance when I saw this today. HOORAY!

Out of the 18 little plants we put in the garden, only two survived the slugs. They've had buds for the last week or so, but we didn't know if they'd flower before we went away for our holiday... and today it did.

I am very happy. I love sunflowers. Maybe the second one will flower for me tomorrow before we go... *fingers crossed*
