Incoming!

I am pretty sure that this is a juvenile male ruby, based on the lack of while tail feather tips. He staked his claim on one side of the weeping cherry this evening and his little head was doing full rotations as he guarded against all incoming hummers. I did get off a couple of shots of contact as he bravely defended his feeder, but they were all a bit too blurry. Maybe next time...
