A Kenyan View

From a Kenyan newspaper....

Its weird being here and hearing about the utter madness going on back home. It's fairly embarassing really, knowing that anyone who finds out we're English is instantly going to think of this. And its just so bizare and confusing and worrying that it's happening at all.

And when you think about how everyone else views it.. i could go on forever about what i'm thinking but Gareth will eat me so i'll just tell you a quote from a letter into the newspaper..

(All the rioting) "puts paid to the fallacy that the white man is intellectually superior to the African, is more civilised and acts with restraint."

And really i think they have a point, i'm sure whenever events like the post election violence here happen in other places Brits, at least secretly, pride themselves that they would never do the same and yet what is going on...
