Night Falls in Mombassa

Arrived about 6am with the dawn and stumbled off the bus into the already humid morning bleery eyed and disorientated. Got ripped off by the tuctuc that took us to our guest house place as we were too half there to bargain.
The place was alright, tiny but clean rooms with en-suites, what more do you need. G had what seemed to be the only balcony in the place too which was lovely, we stood on it and watched the sun set to the sound of the nearby mosque and the madness of the traffic below before going for one of the best indian meals i've had in a long time.
Spent the morning roaming the manic streets which left us hot and dirty and exhausted. Found a funny hotel with a pool to swim in in the afternoon to cool off. Thank goodness its only August, even last time in March its unbearably hot but this time of year you can just about cope!
