Africa, Heart & Soul

I had the pleasure this evening to photograph a show called Africa, Heart & Soul, performed by Grassroots Theatre Company of Zimbabwe who travel to the UK each year and perform.

Grassroots is not your average theatre troupe. Grassroots is a theatre-for-development company from Bulawayo, specialising in using dance, drama and music for positive change. They promote a sustainable, peaceful and united lifestyle based on love, appreciation and tolerance.

Whilst in the UK they donated the proceeds of the performance tonight to another worthwhile charitable organisation, the Waverley Care, who is Scotland?s leading charity providing care and support to people living with HIV and Hepatitis C, and to their partners, families and carers.
