Abides

In keeping with my previous theme and in homage to the Dude, this evening in the Lally household we are abiding.

This is attempt number 1 at a home made White Russian, and despite the lack of (a) a cocktail shaker (b) an alcohol measure or (c) any real notion of how much of each ingredient should go in, I think we have done pretty well.

We ened up using the yogurt making container (its tall and has a lid that does up well), a cup measure (we use when baking) and, last but not least a bit of guess work.

if we had been following it to recipe then we should have used:

50ml Vodka
20 ml Coffee Liquor
30 ml Fresh cream

What we used (for 2) was

50ml Vodka
50ml Coffee Liquor
50ml Fresh Cream
50ml Milk

I declare victory, and the need to make another, after which I may look out my copy of the Big Lebowski and Abide with some good company and one of the most amusing films ever.

For the record that means that we have now covered, Germany, America, Brazil, and now Eastern Europe in the Drinks theme
