The Glasshouse

Went for a wee daunder to the Botanics today; even paid to get into the glasshouses. Finlay wasn't impressed by anything but at least he was content to be running about and splashing in puddles. A Nando's lunch rounded of a pleasant morning.

In the afternoon I took the boys down into the Hermitage while Susie got her nails 'done'. I also used this time to make a decision and order a bike before I tied myself in knots trying comparing various models. I ended up going for the Cannondale Quick CX4 and can't wait for it to arrive next week to take it for a spin. Just need to get a kid's seat, helmets etc. and we're set for father / son bike rides.
