Sgwarnog: In the Field

Jelly Ear

The rain was drumming down all day, but I managed to escape into the local by-ways for an hour or so in late afternoon. There were signs of Autum approaching; leaves starting to turn, conkers on the paths and plenty of mushrooms about.

This patch of Jelly Ear was just off Sodom Track, and over the other side I spent some time watching a Red Kite over a recently harvested field - this half-decent image is the best I've managed in a week of Red Kite spotting.

The downpour returned before I made it back to the house, so I brought a puddle home with me, along with these photos.
