Carys and Poppa

We were supposed to spend today at the Hatfield Country Fair. This morning was lovely, warm and sunny. We arrived at the fair, watched some heavy horses doing some formation dancing to music, and some terrier racing, browsed a few stalls and then down came the rain. And down it came. And down it came.

We sheltered in one of the marquees, luckily it was the refreshment area, so we consoled ourselves with lovely, pork, venison and mushroom sausage baps and coffee. But finally gave up on the rain stopping, or even easing and made a run for the cars.
