Sun Flowers .....

As you know we drive to see my sister and visit southport quite a bit. The journey is a short one and very enjoyable. It feels as though we are travelling through time back to my childhood driving on the back roads missing out all the other traffic.

Weekends are short so we try to pack in as much as we can and we decided to call into the Ship Inn at for a spot of lunch and a walk along the canal.

The sun did not want to stay out and kept hiding behind the clouds. So a lot of the shots I took were a bit dark and moody. So this is my choice for today.
