Cabbage eaters!

Left to their own devices these little capsules would morph into small sized cabbage eaters that in time will become large sized cabbage eaters. (Large white butterflies are in the garden at the moment.) I've been testing out my skill with the macro lens and I think I've reached it - or perhaps I should say I had difficulty reaching it (the plant) which was in the middle of the Brassica bed. Eggs now safely detached - I noticed that they are also laying odd ones across the leaf which are much more difficult to spot (or something else is).

So far Butterflies 6, Wendy 1!
