World War Z

Today I was a glorified delivery driver moving a number of boxes from east to west. In doing this we had to enter the inner sanctum of Glasgow which at the moment is in chaos given that Brad Pitt is in town filming World War Z.

We were early into Glasgow so thought we'd park somewhere close by and head to Tinderbox for some coffee. Little did we know that we couldn't cross some of the cordons and frustratingly couldn't get our fix of coffee.

The next epic trip was to get from the car park to Queen Street - dead easy you'd think, but oh no. The most frustrating thing was that we could see GoMA, but with all the one way streets and closed streets it took us 20 minutes to navigate our way onto Renfield Street, Argyle Street and finally onto Queen Street. As much as I love Glasgow. I hate it's street layout. The number of one ways, no turn lefts or rights is just immense.

Oh well - boxes delivered!
