Nuthatch

Backblip

Well, you didn't think that you would get a whole week from me without a birdblip, did you?
This is the first photograph that I've managed to get of a nuthatch (Sitta europaea); they don't live in Scotland.

Today was quite an adventure, we conquered the highest mountain in the whole of the Netherlands! Luckily there was a bar at the top. When we took Bart to the top of Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh, I remember that he was quite disappointed that they didn't provide the same amenities for thirsty mountaineers.
