Photo workshop in the Cheviots

Had a great day in the Cheviots on a landscape photography workshop with David Taylor. After a shoot around Harbottle Castle, we climbed up to Harbottle Crags and the famous Drake Stone (a large sandstone outcrop said to have healing properties).

This view is taken from Harbottle Crags. I particularly liked the 3 stones in the image. Down in the valley floor you can see Harbottle village. The ruins of the castle are on a small mound to one side of the houses.

We moved on to the river for our tea stop (and images of the water) then to Chew Green for sunset. (Wished I had an extra layer of clothes and my gloves by then!)
