Peninsula Light

What is their excuse?

Back in 2008, there was a £3,800,000 project completed that should have seen the end of raw sewage discharges at North Kessock, into the Beauly Firth. Obviously not. I have seen discharges fairly frequently for a while. The couple of light showers of rain we had at the weekend, wouldn't be enough to overload the system.

Where the main area of "effluent" is, I have previously seen: Bottlenose Dolphins; Common Seals; Otters; Salmon; Mute Swans, and many other seabirds.

Didn't envy the Lifeboat crew. They looked like they were about to launch for their training session, just beside this...

Apologies for two unpleasant Blips in succession!
