Queenstown

Up and way early this morning, left Wanaka at 7, to pick up a colleague in Queenstown at 8. This photo as I descended down the Crown Range.

Breakfast and pre-meeting discussion and last minute additions to our presentations, and then a 2.5 hour presentation to a client. Potentially a big new contract. No guarantee we'll get it, but fingers crossed. It appeared to go well.

Then back over the Crown Range to Wanaka, pick up the family and on the road. Left at 1.50pm, the goal being getting back in time for parent/teacher interviews at 6.45, and we had to go via the airport to pick up our other car.

So, no stops, straight thru, sadly! Such a stunning stunning day ? no clouds, blue sky, windless day, fabulous lakes. Glorious! But, I knew we had only a few minutes spare, even as we left Wanaka (having down this trip a few times now).

Made it to interviews with 5 minutes to spare. Total drive time 4.25, Not bad ;-)
