Sunset Over The Bay.

Picture yourself as an astronaut, standing on the surface of our nearest neighbour. If you were to stand at a certain place on the northern extremities of the Sea of Rains, you would see the low Sun setting over the ramparts of the Bay of Rainbows as two weeks of daytime come to an end.

Follow the terminator south to the Lunar Highlands past the Sea of Clouds and the Marsh of Diseases, and the crater floors of Tycho, Clavius and Maginus are already in the grip of the deep and cold lunar night.
