Rurki waflowe = Very tasty

A desperation blip after a long day of work.

Somebody brought a tin of wafers a bit like these to my last hosting of the Music Group, and I was lucky enough to end up with most of them for myself afterwards.

I think that's what made these something-similar ones catch my eye on Sunday when I stopped off at not-my-usual shop to buy some food essentials. These turn out to be made in Poland (so perhaps not all our East European guests fled the country when the good times ended), and are described as peanut roll wafers. They're very different from their Italian cousins, but are also quite yummily gorgeous, especially with a nice strong cup of coffee.
