Twisted

With drainage lines from my stomach, and IV lines in my arms for fluids and antibiotics, getting untangled and moving around anywhere becomes a real challenge. In the half-sleep I get at night, I'm stuck in repetitive dream-loops of being snared by unseen bonds.

Also, it's like I've reverted to babyhood: "have you passed water? Good. And a bowel movement? Any wind yet?"

It's great to see Mo, Peter and Gail and all the kids at visiting time: really cheers me up. I decide not to accept Andy's kind offer of a giant jelly snake, as I'm still only allowed sips of water.
