Memorial to Oil

This column in the center of Northampton almost needs no elucidation.

On the other side is a printed list of at least 100 items of daily or regular use which are made at least in part from petroleum. So the "sculpture" (if one can call it that) stands as an admonition to reconsider our extensive dependence on oil and its byproducts.
