PEACE

My peace lily has produced a dozen or more 'flowers' this year. It seems that the more flowers it has the less peace there is - anywhere. It's like giving Hurricane Irene a name that means 'peace' - they really should have thought about it and chosen Ira. Perhaps I should perform some sort of ritual sacrifice to get rid of this plant - I've never been over-fond of it. I could replace it with a big vase of stargazers, permanently replenished. That should do the trick.
