Journey Through Time

Hood to Coast

Had a nice weekend helping with the garage sale. Nice weather, lots of laughs. Got to see my cousins and their spouses, too (one is fellow blipper, Rainy Day in Oregon) and that was fun.

On our way back from Corvallis we saw this van next to us. The Hood to Coast relay was held this last weekend. Part of the fun of the relay is to have a catchy team name and decorate the travel vans. It is quite the relay race and our son was in it when he was in high school. He ran three years in a row. He had a good track coach who motivated him. Now, he says, he will NEVER do that again!! Bill and I volunteered two years in a row. One year was fun, the other year was insane as we were up until dawn. We will NEVER do that again.
