I blame the glass.

If you saw/ remember this one, you'll recall I am now able to see what's going on out there.

Trouble is-''they'' seem to be able to see in better than I can see out, I can stand stock still on seeing them yet they immediately start to look a wee bit furtive and drift off either casually or, in this one's case very hurriedly. I got a fair shot of his tail vanishing behind next door's shed.

I blame the glass for lack of focus, camera seemed to think all was well. I suppose 2 layers of glass and a ''Special K©'' coating does little to help.

But don't let anybody tell you Magpies are ''Black and White''.
