Hellebore seed pods

No chance to get out at lunchtime. Busy, busy day preparing statistics for the meeting next week. Putting the slides in our new corporate Powerpoint template took a while too.

The courier collected all our publicity material and samples today and I hope to see them again at the conference centre in Sapporo on Monday - fingers crossed!

I found these interesting seed pods on the hellebore that I blipped earlier in the year (green hellebore). I love the shapes they make. I hadn't spotted the tiny snail or the little woodlice on the pods when I picked them up. Coming to the reluctant conclusion that autumn might be on its way.
