Oh, For an iPhone...

...or any smart phone for our trip to Europe. There are so many great apps to make travel easier. Let me count the ways -- no, there are just too many.

Not having a smart phone is bad enough, but my Verizon US phone operates on the CDMA system and Europe uses GSM, so I'll be using this ancient relic. I bought it on eBay a couple of years ago for our last trip. Naturally, I've forgotten how to use it, and the key labeling isn't exactly intuitive. Never mind, I won't be using it very much -- I hope -- but it's nice to have in case of emergencies.
