Glory of the Snow

Chionodoxa

My Chionodoxa is flowering for the first time in more than 12 years! There's only one flower, but I'm happy with that. I thought I'd lost it, but the tiny plant has turned up in the pot with the small snowdrops (Galanthus). The plant is less than 10cm tall, and the flower is 2cm across. A real little treasure.

My daughter, FirehorseMia, and my granddaughter are coming to visit me tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to seeing them.
