Don't Jump

I found this little critter on the Arctotis this morning. Probably something less than 1 cm big (.39 inch). Doing the best I could on t'internet today I have come to the conclusion (s)he is probable a cricket. (S)He had long long antennae and was not one bit pleased having a big black thingy pointing in her/his direction.
