Happy Anniversary

So I'm at work when the 'phone rings and it's TSM.
"Sally rang".
"Sally who?"
"Our friend Sally."
"Oh right. What did she want?"
"To say happy anniversary".
"Why?"
"Because it's our anniversary".

Another year when we both forgot. So we went out to dinner in the local pub tonight to mark 9 years of marriage within 17 years of togetherness.

With these rings we did wed
From living in sin to marriage bed
Either way is fine by me
Unwedded soul mate or matrimony
Love is love, and faithfully
We'll grow old disgracefully...
