Day Fifteen: Hello Seattle

Spent the afternoon checking out Seattle before heading up to Bellingham, my new home. Went up to the observation deck in the famous space needle which is where this shot was taken. Mount Rainier is just so impressive! It shows up out of nowhere...this 14k ft mountain! It's like nature just wanted to show off its abilities. Seattle seems like a nice city. It's generally clean, and it's so nice to have the ocean and mountain views. I feel as though perhaps they live in the shadow of this kind of power and feel humble. At least that's how I would feel if I lived there.

Also checked out Pike Place Market which was busy but very cool, and got a drink from the first Starbucks. We enjoyed Seattle, but were also happy to arrive at Bellingham for the first time! Got to see the bay at sunset and settle in a bit.
