Day Fourteen: Glacier to Seattle

Another long drive today. I think it was about 10 hours? Drove through Montana, Idaho, and into Washington finally. In the morning, we did see a coyote (first time I've ever seen one) and a deer almost ran right into our car. Thankful people had been praying for our safe journey! Those two sightings were probably within three minutes of each other! Crazy wildlife. It was not all that early either...probably 10AM!

Anyway, we did arrive in Seattle. Had a bit of a time finding an available room, but finally ended up in a Days Inn. Then, had to deal with Bridget rescheduling her flight as it was canceled due to Hurricane Irene. What a mess. Up into the early hours, trying to get in contact with someone. Finally she just got a refund and scheduled a new one. In hindsight, it's a good thing she did that since some people were just stuck after the hurricane hit! New England definitely was not well prepared for any kind of tropical storm at all. Luckily, all of our family and friends were safe, but the power was out for them for at least a week.

Oh, so I've been rambling. We ate at a Chinese restaurant next door and this was my fortune. Thought it was appropriate as I am moving to an entirely new area. Let's hope this is true.
