Tyger, Tyger, burning bright

In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?

- 'The Tyger' William Blake

I remember having to learn this poem by heart for school once, the first verse still sticks in my head. I couldn't resist adding this poem to the picture as the lovely tiger looks as if on flame with the copper colour of all those pennies stuck to him. He's part of the Jungle City exhibition at the Edinburgh botanics - last day tomorrow, until the tigers, crocs, elephants, orang-utans and hornbills are relased for a couple of weeks in Edinburgh (I hope so - blip fodder!). They'll eventually be auctioned off for charity to protect these wonderful species that are currently endangered. Each of them are decorated by a different artist so there are many different styles - similar idea to the Cow parade and Elephant parade.
