Thirty Three

Being the number of years I've known this man. Sometimes, when you've had a difficult week, you want the company of people that know you well and can be relied on to tread carefully on the eggshells.

Today's highlights:

Cooked shakshuka for breakfast
Took the Queen of Plumstead out and let her buy me a birthday present
Excellent supper with old friends. We actually did all three courses ourselves.

Might have a bit of a lie in tomorrow, say, 7.30...
