Walk Ten Belladrum

Last night was my final event of the year photographing for Marie Curie. The Walk Ten events are a 10km walk through beautiful Scottish countryside, culminating in a picnic until 10pm which signifies the time that the Marie Curie nurses would take over care of patients from their families.

Participants light a small fire in remembrance of lost relatives and it provides a poignant reminder of the terrible disease and the great work that the Marie Curie nurses do.

This will be my entry for the Weekend Blip Challenge
